Samantha Carter is an Advancing Evidence in Policy Fellow focused on supporting the use of evidence within the United States Agency for International Development. Her past experience includes roles at MIT’s Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), the World Bank’s Development Research Group, Founders Pledge, and Precision Development (PxD). She has led research projects in Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Nigeria, and Pakistan, as well as policy and implementation projects in Brazil and Peru. Sam holds a Masters in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
