Maya Verber is head of news and external communications and a senior communications manager for CGD Europe. In this role she manages communications for the UK & European Development policy programmes and migration and displacement programme.
Before joining CGD, Maya handled communications for an international NGO, WaterAid, working with a global media team to support communications colleagues across 28 countries. She has a range of experience within corporate communications and public relations within the private sector, most notably spending several years working for world-famous department store, Harrods.
Maya holds a BA in Philosophy from Newcastle University in the UK.
