About 10 years ago, in 2012, my organisation, the Center for Global Development, created a new migration model. It is called the Global Skill Partnership... Instead of trying to attract already qualified people from Nigeria to come to the UK, the UK would invest in training those people in that skillset within Nigeria. It is the idea of two for one.
