This set includes data and Stata files to replicate the results in CGD Working Paper 279, “The High Return to Private Schooling in a Low-Income Country.”
The paper relies on three sources of data. For each source, there is an anonymized data file to enable replication as well as Stata programs that demonstrate how the anonymized data extract was compiled from original data sources available from the Kenyan Ministry of Education and National Bureau ofStatistics. More details are available in the ReadMe file.
This data set is made available under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license. You are free to copy, distribute, transmit, and adapt the work for noncommercial purposes only, with attribution given the Center for Global Development, preferably with a link to this page. Resulting work must be distributed under the same license or one similar.
