Alex Domash is an Advancing Evidence in Policy Fellow, where his work focuses on improving the use of evidence in U.S. foreign aid and development policy. Before joining CGD, Domash spent five years conducting policy-relevant development research focusing on labor markets, social protection, and trade & investment. He has worked as a consultant with the World Bank in Uganda, and as an adviser to the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Ethiopia and the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in Saudi Arabia. Most recently, he was a Research Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School, where his research focused on the post-pandemic labor market recovery in the U.S. He has a Masters in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School.
