Evidence shows that the development of early mathematics skills are a predictor of later school success and financial well being. Despite this evidence, numeracy outcomes are far lower than they should be in many low- and middle-income contexts. The Numeracy at Scale study is the second phase of the Learning at Scale research study and focuses on identifying the characteristics of successful programs from around the world that have improved early grade numeracy outcomes at scale.
