On Tuesday, July 21, 2009, The Latin American Program of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the Center for Global Development hosted a seminar on Poverty, Inequality, and the "New Left" in Latin America. This event featured Santiago Levy, Vice President for Sectors and Knowledge, Inter-American Development Bank, Nora Lustig, Samuel Z. Stone Professor of Latin American Economics, Tulane University, and Non-Resident Fellow, Center for Global Development, and Carolina Sánchez-Páramo, Senior Economist, Poverty and Reduction Group, The World Bank.
