Millions of people globally are affected by HIV/AIDS despite great progress in prevention, care, and treatment. HIV/AIDS continues to devastate communities and families in some of the poorest and most fragile nations. This issue forum will address strategies that philanthropy employs in shaping public policy to encourage development of lifesaving medical advances, scale-up effective interventions, and ensure services reach communities disproportionately affected by one of the world's most aggressive killers.
