Please join us for a unique event, where we will hear from the heads of five development finance institutions (DFIs) about how to unlock private resources for global prosperity. As public sector organizations set up to attract private wealth into development projects, these five DFIs together bring $50 billion to the table—and catalyze much more.

We know that private resource flows into the developing world far exceed anything governments might provide in official development assistance and that greater economic growth and jobs are needed to meet individual aspirations. How can DFIs help governments to rethink how they work with the private sector?

At this co-hosted event, think tank experts will quiz DFI heads about their main challenges and successes in leveraging private capital, and how they can do better. Expert moderators include: Kirsten Madison (Resident Fellow and Deputy Director of Foreign and Defense Policy Studies, AEI), Todd Moss (Senior Fellow and Chief Operating Officer, CGD), and Dan Runde (William A. Schreyer Chair and Director, Project on Prosperity and Development, CSIS).
