Nora Lustig Featured in F&D

December 20, 2005
Nora Lustig a CGD Board member and an early and effective advocate for combining sound macroeconomic policy with effectively targeted social programs, is the focus of a thoughtful profile in this month's F&D, the quarterly magazine of the IMF. In Economics with a Social Face Conny Lotze writes that in recent years Nora’s
research and writings became mandatory reading for a new generation of Latin American economists, who were drawn to her resolute advocacy of pursuing macroeconomic stability while seeking intelligently designed social policies.
Now that’s making a difference. I’m proud indeed to count Nora among my friends, and grateful that she makes time to serve on CGD’s board. You go girl!
