In its role as the AMC (Advance Market Commitment) Secretariat, the GAVI Alliance Secretariat is seeking 3 additional members for its Independent Assessment Committee (IAC), each with expertise in one of the following areas: public health, public-private finance, and vaccine industry economics. With the upcoming launch of the pilot AMC for pneumococcal vaccines, the IAC oversees several core components of the AMC process; specifically, it reviews and approves the technical product profile (TPP) for the vaccine, determines AMC eligibility of vaccine candidates, oversees monitoring of AMC, reviews and modifies AMC prices, resolves disputes, etc. For more information on the call for nominations and the AMC in general, please see www.vaccineamc.org.
