Ursula Giedion

Non-Resident Fellow


Ursula Giedion is a non-resident fellow at the Center for Global Development and the coordinator of CRITERIA, IDB’s knowledge dissemination network on priority setting and health benefits packages. Over the last 30 years she has worked across Latin America and for a range of organisations including the World Bank, ECLAC, OECD, the Brookings Institution, Harvard University, Bitran&Associates, Fedesarrollo and the Ministry of Health of Colombia. During those appointments, she worked on a wide range of topics, including health reforms, health sector financing, impact evaluation, resource allocation, priority setting and health benefits package design and implementation. She holds an MSc in Economics from the National University of Colombia and a BSc from the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies of Geneva.
