Ahmadou Aly Mbaye is professor of economics and public policies at Cheikh Anta Diop University, in Senegal. He is also the Director of the West African regional graduate program in climate change economics, covering 11 countries. Previously, he has served as the dean of the School of Economics and Management at Cheikh Anta Diop University and Chair of the francophone research network. He has been a consultant for many regional and international organizations. He has numerous publications on development economics and Africa.
