Measuring Commitment to Health: Using Global Health Indicators to Inform Donor Decisions

The Center for Global Development convened the Global Health Indicators Working Group to examine potential measures of developing countries' commitment to improving their citizens' health. The group assessed eight indicators for donors to consider when allocating health funding across countries. These recommendations, presented in detail in the new report Measuring Commitment to Health, were the focus of discussion at this CGD seminar.

Sheila Herrling, Senior Policy Analyst at Center for Global Development moderated the discussion that included Ed Bos, Senior Population Specialist at World Bank and Ruth Levine, Director of Programs and Senior Fellow at Center for Global Development.
