Let's Discuss the Economic Outlook for Sub-Saharan Africa

This is hosted on Twitter Space and features CGD expert Gyude Moore.

Last week the IMF released it's Regional Economic Outlook for Sub-Saharan Africa. Sub-Saharan Africa's economy is set to expand by 3.7 percent in 2021 and 3.8 percent in 2022, a welcome change from the sharp contraction in 2020 but still represents the slowest recovery relative to other regions. CGD Senior Policy Fellow, Gyude Moore, joins Abebe Selassie, Director of the IMF African Department to discuss the economic outlook for sub-Saharan Africa.
