The Gateway Ambassadors of Ghana

On Friday, June 13, CGD hosted a Development Matters event featuring the Gateway Ambassadors (GA) of Ghana. The GA gave a rousing performance of song and spoken word. The event included an informal discussion between several GA members, moderator Steven Radelet and the audience about the experiences of the GA in working to educate and inspire the public in Ghana and the U.S. about youth, education and HIV/AIDS in Africa. The group was joined by Reverend Canon Gideon Byamugisha in sharing messages of hope and inspiration about the role of youth in building a hopeful and positive future for Africa.
