CGD Conversations on COVID-19 and Development: John Nkengasong

 
Director of Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), John Nkengasong, joins CGD President Masood Ahmed and CGD Executive Vice President Amanda Glassman to discuss how his organization is helping member states to combat COVID-19. They will discuss the efforts to trace, track, and test; how to introduce mitigation measures on a continent that relies on an informal economy; and how to ensure that resources are not diverted away from other health threats like malaria or tuberculosis.
