On Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m., the Kaiser Family Foundation will hold a briefing to explore global efforts to help more children live to age 5 – a milestone birthday, after which children are far more likely to survive to adulthood. The event will feature remarks by USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah on U.S. efforts to help children reach their fifth birthdays, followed by a panel discussion that will examine where progress is being made, financial challenges and constraints, and opportunities for further engagement by the U.S. and others.
