The Center for Global Development is proud to host Arvind Subramanian, Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India since October 2014. In an open forum event, Subramanian will discuss and take questions on India's economic priorities and global cooperation.

Subramanian brings unique insight into the economic deliberations at the very highest levels of India’s government. His many responsibilities include producing India’s recent Economic Survey report, which underpins the drafting of the country's annual Budget. This event also marks a welcome return for Subramanian to CGD, where he is a senior fellow (currently on leave).
