Washington Post On Islam and Polio

According to Nora Boustany in the Washington Post, (free registration required) there is a resurgence in polio around the world, of which 96 percent has been in muslim countries. The article quotes a WHO official as saying that that less than 1 percent of the $4 billion spent to eradicate polio since 1988 has come from members of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
