World Bank President Candidate Events

This week, the Center for Global Development and the Washington Post are hosting a series of World Bank President Candidate Events  to provide a public forum for the candidates to explain their vision for the future of the World Bank and be questioned by the media and members of the international development community. 

Please register here to join us for the second event in the series with José Antonio Ocampo, former finance minister of Colombia, on Tuesday, April 10 from 4:00 – 5:30pm at the Globe Theater in Washington, DC (1927 Florida Avenue NW). If you are unable to attend in person, we invite you to tune in online and submit your questions to #WBPrez via Twitter. The first event was held on Monday, April 9 with Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, finance minister of Nigeria and former managing director at the World Bank.  A video recording of the event is available here.
