Variations in coastal morphology will magnify the effects in some areas, while largely insulating others. Climate Change and the Future Impacts of Storm-Surge Disasters in Developing Countries, a September 2009 report by the Center for Global Development, looks at the vulnerability of 84 developing countries and 577 cyclone-vulnerable big coastal cities."
