Susan B. Levine

Susan B. Levine is a Managing Director at Watershed Asset Management, L.L.C., a San Francisco based investment management firm. Prior to joining Watershed in 2005, Ms. Levine was a managing partner of Washington D.C. based Quince Hill Partners, which she co-founded in 2001. Previously, Ms. Levine was a managing director at JER Partners, in Mclean Virginia (1998-2000), and a director at Emerging Markets Partnership in Washington DC (1996-1998). From 1993-1996, Ms. Levine served in the U.S. government, first as Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Development, Debt and Environmental Policy at the U.S. Treasury Department, and then as senior vice president at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. From 1984 to 1993 Ms. Levine was in the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers, where her last position was senior vice president and head of the private equity placement group.

Ms. Levine received a B.A. in political science from Swarthmore College and an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University. She has studied Chinese and has lived in Taiwan and worked extensively throughout East Asia, including China, Thailand and Japan.

Ms. Levine is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the board of directors of the Center for Global Development in Washington, D.C., and a member of the Board of Managers of Swarthmore College.
