Tom Standage on Sounds Robotic: A CGD Podcast

Tom Standage is Deputy Editor of the Economist magazine and has written extensively on technology, not least in an Economist Special Report on artificial intelligence. He has also written numerous books including Writing on the Wall: Social Media – The First 2,000 Years and The Victorian Internet: The Remarkable Story of the Telegraph and the Nineteenth Century's On-line Pioneers. I spoke to Tom about the potential upsides of AI and automation as well as the "lump of labor" fallacy as applied to robots.
